Limnophila sessiliflora comes from from South-East Asia and it is a great plant for the beginners. This is an undemanding and adaptable plant, that can withstand a wide range of conditions (pH values, temperature and lighting demands). That is why it is a great alternative for Cabomba, a plant that closely resembles. It grows extremely fast and it is suitable for the newly planted aquariums as a prevention against algae blooms. It's growth can be stimulated by lower lighting and CO2 addittion, which results with smaller spacing between nodes and therefore with more compact growth. It is most beautiful when it is planted in groups into the back of the aquarium.
